Time Traveler

Tussen alle kostuums door had ik weer even zin om te scrappen. Ik heb hiervoor de nieuwe sketch van Sketchabilities gebruikt en het moodboard van Scrap Around The World. De sketch heb ik gespiegeld omdat ik dat beter bij de foto vond passen. Ben alleen niet helemaal happy met het eindresultaat. (De foto vind ik zelf nog steeds de mooiste die gemaakt is op Elfia 2014 in Haarzuilens. Ben normaal niet zo gecharmeerd van "en profile" foto's van mezelf maar deze vind ik dus wel geslaagd) De foto had ik alleen achteraf liever sepiakleurig op mijn layout gehad in plaats van zwart wit, had qua kleur veel beter gepast. Helaas had ik alleen een zwart wit liggen, maar misschien vervang ik de foto gewoon nog een keer voor een sepiakleurige. :)

Layout made with the new sketch of Sketchabilities and the moodboard of Scrap Around The World. From the moodboard I was inspired by the clocks, roses and the keys. I thought of my favourite picture of me in my Steampunk outfit. I'm not totally happy with the endresult of my layout but that's because of the colour of the picture. I think a sepia toned one would have fitted much better then the black and white I've now used. Maybe someday I'll switch the black and white one for a sepia toned one.

I flipped the sketch because that fitted the picture better.

MD #244 Let it snow!!

Welcome to a new challenge on the Meljen's Designsteam and Challengeblog! This week: "Let it snow".
We would love to see a card with a wintery theme on it.
For my card this week I've used "Cozy Winter Owl" and though it would be fun to use different colours for my papers instead of the usual blue and white for a snowy theme.
You can use any image you want for this challenge, but don't forget that using a Meljen's Designs image gives you another entry in the drawing for the prizes!!

For my card I've used "Yeti Cocoa", I find him adorable with those cute feet.

Ik had weer eens zin om een layout te maken en heb de laatste sketch van Sketchabilities gebruikt. Ik vind hun sketches altijd zo leuk!
Ik heb hem weer gecombineerd met het moodboard van Scrap Around The World. Het moodboard van deze maand  had zulke mooie kleuren, dus moest hem gewoon gebruiken. Ik heb ook het hart in de foto terug laten komen in mijn layout.

Time to make a new layout with the sketch at Sketchabilities. I just love their sketches!
I've decided to combine this with the moodboard at Scrap Around The World. I thought their moodboard was just beautiful for this month. I was inspired by the colours and the heart in the photos.

MD #240 It's a Wrap!

Welcome to the last challenge for this year on the Meljen's Designsteam and Challengeblog! After this challenge all the Meljen's Girls are going to enjoy the holidays for a couple of weeks. The new challenge will start in the new year on january first!
I really like this last challenge of the year, you've got to use wrappingpaper on your project. I found a little piece of birthday wrapping paper and used this. I picked "Gift Boxes" from the digital shop of Meljen's Designs for my card and coloured them up with my Prisma's to match the wrappingpaper.

Don't forget when you use an image of Meljen's Designs you'll get 2 entries to win one of the prizes.
