Halloweenparty!!

Voor degenen die het leuk vinden een aantal foto's van het Halloweenfeest die we afgelopen zaterdag hebben gegeven voor onze verjaardag. Viel niet mee om wat foto's te selecteren want er zijn meer als 250 foto's geschoten die avond :)

Meljen's Design Challenge #133 Tear it up!

Time for a new fun challenge on the Meljen's Design Team and Challengeblog!
This week it's: Tear it up! I've used one of the new releases of last week "Sweet Little Foxy" which you can find here in the shop.
Trying to use scraps I've got lying around and that's why I choose to colour Foxy purple :) Fits perfectly with the scraps of Maja Design.

DDCC #187 Buttons and Bows

Donderdag en vandaag is het weer challengetijd op het Dutch Dare Card Challengesblog! Deze week: Buttons and Bows, oftwel knopen en strikken.
We willen minimaal 1 knoop en strik op je kaart zien. Dit kan natuurlijk ook papier zijn met knopen erop of een afbeelding waar een strik in zit. Je kan dit dus op meerdere manier opvatten.
Ikzelf heb gekozen voor een lint met een strik erin en daarop 1 grote knoop.
Afbeelding is Kaye (Springtime) en zij komt uit de shop van Crafty Sentiments, die tevens deze week onze sponsor is. Zij hebben een mooie prijs beschikbaar gesteld.
Papier wat ik heb gebruikt zijn restjes van Pink Paislee, Vintage Vogue. Afbeelding is gekleurd met Derwentpotloden.

Thursday, so it's challengetime on the Dutch Dare Card Challengesblog! This week it's Buttons and Bows. We want to see at least 1 button and 1 bow on your card. This also can be papers with buttons on it, or an image with a bow on it somewhere. There are differentent ways to so "solve" this.

Tic Tac Toe with Céline

Hi everyone!
Today it's my first DT post for the Meljen's Designs DT and Challengeblog and I'm really excited about this one. We've got such a great challenge for the DT and for you this month!! I'm also really excited that I'm working with such a wonderful DT of talented girls, who each and everyone are really inspiring to me! And ofcourse I'm really happy to be working with all of those wonderful images drawn by Melissa!

I've used my punches to make the flower, the little leaves, butterfly and the boarders.

Tim Holtz tag oktober

Van de week weer lekker bezig geweest met de tag voor oktober van de 12 tags voor 2012 van Tim Holtz. September ben ik eigenlijk totaal vergeten om te maken, die komt misschien nog wel.
Het maken van de tag vind ik toch zo ontzettend leuk. Je wordt echt uitgedaagd om iets te maken met de spullen die je hebt of juist niet hebt en waarvoor je iets anders moet bedenken.
Het woord "spooky" en het spinnetje zijn van mijn Happy Hauntings cartridge voor de Cricut. Beiden zijn bewerkt met een paar lagen zwarte embossingpoeder waar ik glitter doorheen heb gedaan. Het doodshoofdje heb ik gemaakt van klei met behulp van een malletje. Dit malletje heb ik gemaakt met Silli, een soort siliconenklei waar je heel makkelijk je eigen mallen mee maakt. Dit heb ik bij Creatijd vandaan.
Beetje zwarte inkt over het doodshoofdje gedaan omdat hij anders veel te licht was van kleur.
De schaduwen met de grafzerken heb ik gemaakt met wat ik over had nadat ik deze die van Tim Holtz door mijn Cuttlebug had gedaan. Ik heb er een soort sjabloon van gemaakt en hier voorzichtig ingestempeld met bruine inkt. Om het af te maken weer een beetje nep spinnenweb erop gedaan.
Hij is niet helemaal geworden zoals ik in mijn hoofd had maar dat geeft niet. Ik ben in ieder geval weer een paar uurtjes zoet geweest ermee :) Creatief bezig zijn is altijd lekker tenslotte!

My tag for october for the 12 tags of 2012 for the Tim Holtz challenge. Didn't quite turn out with what I had in mind but that doesn't matter, it kept me busy for a couple of hours :) Being creative is always good!

Zombies!! New Release!!

Zombies have invaded Meljen's Designs! Stu and Stella join the very populair Patches the Zombie Bunny! Don't worry, they won't scare you. On the contrary, they're sure to provide you with lots of creative inspiraration!

Our "potions master", Melissa drew these frightening new images to accompany the many Halloween digi stamps you can find in the Meljen's Designs Digital Stamp Shop for your creepiest Halloween project this year....

This is what I made for you with some of the new images! I couldn't pick between Zombie Stu and Stella and the Jar of Eyeballs, so I decided to use them all on 1 card.

When I first saw the image of the jar, this quote immediately came to mind so I've used it on the inside of my card :)
