Ik ben momenteel helemaal into de Steampunk. Vind het zo'n leuke stijl, Victoriaans klassiek maar met een twist. Dit komt natuurlijk omdat we dit jaar naar de Elf Fantasy Fair willen in Steampunk kleding en ik dus al heel veel plaatjes heb verzameld. Ik kwam toen ook een heel gaaf boek tegen van Christi Friesen wat ik echt helemaal geweldig vind: Steampunkery. Het combineert twee dingen die ik leuk vind, polymeerklei (Fimo en Pardo) en Steampunk.
Ik heb hier van de week de kameleon uit gemaakt en vind het een superleuk diertje geworden. Lekker losgegaan met radertjes, Perfect Pearls, metallicpoeder, schroefjes en brads om hem te versieren.
Dit is het eindresultaat geworden.
At the moment I'm completely in love with the Steampunkstyle. Just love the combination of Victorianclassic with a twist. Because I'm looking for ideas for our costumes for the Elf Fantasy Fair (fantasy event in april in the Netherlands) and stumbled upon a picture of this book by Christi Friesen: Steampunkery.
I immediately wanted this book because it combined two thing I love: polymerclay and Steampunk.
I've made this little chameleon from this book and love this little guy (or girl). I've used little watchgears, Perfect Pearls, metallic powders. little screws and brads.
Ooh wow, die is echt gaaf. Dat steampunky gaat je echt goed af.
