Welcom to a new challenge on the Meljen's Designteam and Challengeblog! This week it's Tic Tac Toe time at Meljen's Designs, you can find the card in this blogpost.
For my card this week I've used "Speedy Hare" and the inside of the card says "Wishing you a speedy recovery".
When you play along with us, there is a chance for you to win some fabulous prizes! There will be a grand prize of 5 images for a project that uses an image of Meljen's Designs. Second place will win 2 images and third place will win 1 image. For these prizes you don't have to use an image of Meljen's, but when you do, you'll get an extra entry for the second and third prize drawing.
I hope you'll join in the fun!
Today it's my turn again to show you something I've made with one of the wonderful images of Meljen's Designs. The funny thing is, I had the same idea as Tracie, I also made a shaker card :)
I've used "Lil' Love Devil" because I wanted to make something for Valentine. I made this shakercard but I've made the shaker part on the front of the card.
I've cut two pieces of cardboard in a frame shape, glued them on top of each other and then glued a piece of transparancy on it in the same size as my frame.
I've put some sequins inside and then glued my image to the back, and so created a shakerbox to put on the front of my card.
To give the edges color, I've taped all the sides with pieces of washi tape along the edges and front side of the shakerbox.
When you're looking for a cute Valentine image, don't forget to check out the shop of Meljen's Designs. Type in Valentine in the searchbox and all kind of cute images pop up. Have fun creating something for your loved ones!
Thursday, so time for a new challenge at the Meljen's Designsteam and Challengeblog. This week we've got a sketch for you created by our DT member Amy.
For the sketch I've used "Fluffy Baby Penguin". My card is for a collegue of my husband, he and his wife are now the proud parents of a beautiful babyboy.
This week we're going to start with new prizes. There will be a grand prize of 5 images for a project that uses an image of Meljen's Design. Second place will win 2 images and third place will win 1 image. For these prizes you don't have to use an image of Meljen's, but when you do, you'll get an extra entry for the second and third prize drawing.
I hope you'll join in the fun!
Layout made with the new sketch of Sketchabilities and the moodboard of Scrap Around The World. From the moodboard I was inspired by the clocks, roses and the keys. I thought of my favourite picture of me in my Steampunk outfit. I'm not totally happy with the endresult of my layout but that's because of the colour of the picture. I think a sepia toned one would have fitted much better then the black and white I've now used. Maybe someday I'll switch the black and white one for a sepia toned one.
I flipped the sketch because that fitted the picture better.
Welcome to a new challenge on the Meljen's Designsteam and Challengeblog! This week: "Let it snow".
We would love to see a card with a wintery theme on it.
For my card this week I've used "Cozy Winter Owl" and though it would be fun to use different colours for my papers instead of the usual blue and white for a snowy theme.
You can use any image you want for this challenge, but don't forget that using a Meljen's Designs image gives you another entry in the drawing for the prizes!!
Welcome to a new fun challenge at Meljen's Designsteam and Challengeblog!! This week we've got a beautiful colour palette for you to work with.
For my card I've used "Yeti Cocoa", I find him adorable with those cute feet.
For the challenge you can use any design you want, but remember when you use an image of Meljen's Designs you get 2 entries instead of 1 in the random drawing for the prizes!!
Welcome to the last challenge for this year for Creative Knockouts!! This will also be my last challenge because I've decided to step down from this DT. I've been on this DT for more than 3 years and I think it's time for someone else to take my spot. So if you're interested do send Kelly of Creative Knockouts an email! You can find her email on the blog of Creative Knockouts.
Our lovely sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine and we all could pick an image of our choice. For my final challenge I've picked Lizabeth "Wedding Bliss" because I just really like this image :)
I hope you'll find the time to enter into this challenge even though it's a really busy time.
Looking forward to seeing your entries!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a fabulous 2015!!
